Taibah University in Madinah launched a specialized training camp yesterday, Tuesday, focused on robotics and autonomous aircraft. The initiative aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of modern technologies and to cultivate their technical and creative skills through an educational experience that combines theory with hands-on practice.
The camp features specialized workshops on robotics, the design and construction of functional robots, and programming using Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi technologies and tools. It also covers 3D printing and the assembly of autonomous aircraft.
Participants are given the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired by working on practical projects and undertaking field visits; this enhances their ability to engage with modern technologies and translate theoretical concepts into real-world applications.
The camp targets beginners interested in learning about robotics and autonomous aircraft who wish to gain practical technical skills; a certificate of completion is awarded to participants who meet the program's requirements.
This camp is part of a broader effort to develop students' technical skills and expand their knowledge of modern technology and innovation. It contributes to preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with technological shifts and future industries, while supporting Saudi Vision 2030 goals regarding human capability development and the growth of the digital economy.
