Al-Ula city is located in the northwestern part of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah and is classified as a Category (A) governorate. It is distinguished by its diverse topography, which includes mountains, plains, and oases, as well as the abundance of water resources and fertile land. These factors have encouraged human settlement since ancient times, as evidenced by the numerous archaeological remains found throughout the governorate.
