College of Applied Medical Sciences in Yanbu Governorate, in Collaboration with the Madinah Health Cluster Represented by Yanbu General Hospital, Conducts an Infection Control Training Course for Students and Faculty Members

The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Yanbu Governorate, through its Academic Affairs Agency and represented by the Training and Internship Unit, organized an Infection Control Training Course in collaboration with the Madinah Health Cluster and Yanbu General Hospital, covering all departments of the college. The course was held at the Yanbu Branch Theater and witnessed active participation from students and faculty members across all academic departments.

The course aimed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills for infection prevention, serving as a mandatory requirement for practical training and internships to ensure adherence to professional safety standards. Participants were awarded certificates of attendance accredited by Yanbu General Hospital, reflecting official recognition of their participation and successful completion of the course.

The program included detailed guidance on infection control procedures and emphasized the importance of adhering to preventive health practices, enhancing students’ and faculty members’ readiness for practical application in various training environments.

This initiative is part of the college’s efforts to promote the integration of theoretical and practical learning, and to prepare qualified and competent health professionals capable of delivering safe and effective healthcare.
