College of Applied Medical Sciences in Yanbu Governorate, in Collaboration with Al-Madina Health Cluster Represented by Yanbu General Hospital, Conducts a Basic First Aid Skills Training Course for Students and Faculty Members

The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Yanbu Governorate, through its Academic Affairs Agency and represented by the Training and Internship Unit, organized a Basic First Aid Skills Training Course in collaboration with Yanbu General Hospital, covering all departments of the college. The course was held at the Yanbu Branch Theater and witnessed active participation from students and faculty members from various academic departments.

The course aimed to enhance the preparedness of students and faculty members in essential first aid skills, enabling them to respond effectively to emergency situations within training and practical environments. Participants received certificates of attendance accredited by Yanbu General Hospital, including 6 training hours recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, reflecting the professional value of the course.

The program included practical demonstrations and simulated emergency scenarios, which contributed to strengthening participants’ skills and improving their practical competence. This initiative is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to develop health professionals and prepare students for the highest levels of professional performance, reflecting the college’s commitment to providing a safe and comprehensive educational environment.
