It is a volunteer activity composed of male and female students from the College of Pharmacy at Taibah University. The activity focuses on spreading pharmaceutical awareness and educating the community on the optimal use of medications and the potential misuse of them.
Objectives:
To introduce the community to the College of Pharmacy at Taibah University and educate them on the importance of the pharmacy profession and the pharmacist's role in the healthcare sector.
To organize volunteer activities and events related to the healthcare and pharmaceutical fields.
To volunteer in charitable and humanitarian work aimed at serving the community.
To represent the voice of the profession in addressing pharmacy students' inquiries, contributing to the development of a generation of aspiring and productive pharmacists.
To educate pharmacy students on all aspects of their professional and career fields.
To spread pharmaceutical culture in the community and raise awareness about the proper use of medications and the common misuse of them.
Establishment of the Activity:
The activity was established in 2012 and has witnessed great success over the years with more than 100 events held in Madinah. These include projects targeting different segments of the community and specialized courses targeting pharmacists and healthcare professionals. The number of beneficiaries has exceeded 50,000 individuals.
Notable Achievements of the Activity:
The activity achieved first place among student clubs in 1439-1440H and 1443-1444H.
The activity achieved second place among all volunteer student clubs at Taibah University in 1438-1440H.
The activity won first place at the KSAPT conference in 2021.
The activity won third place in the scientific research competition at the SIPHA conference in 2020.
One of the most notable achievements of the activity, which gained widespread recognition, was the "Your Medicine in Milligrams" campaign, which ran for eight years across eight editions. The most prominent feature of this event was its expansion outside Madinah, involving pharmacy clubs from different cities in the Kingdom, such as:
Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah
Princess Nourah University in Riyadh
King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah
Imam Abdulrahman University in the Eastern Province
The "Your Medicine in Milligrams" campaign also expanded beyond Saudi Arabia to several countries, including:
Kuwait

The club offers a range of courses and workshops for the general community in Madinah and specifically for the healthcare community, such as:
Psychiatric and Narcotic Drugs Course
Scientific Research Course
CV Writing Course
Job Interview Course (Key to Success)
Sign Language Course and how pharmacists should interact with patients with special needs, called "Merciful Among Them," highlighting the important role of healthcare practitioners for this segment of society.
Events Organized by the Activity:
Your Medicine in Milligrams Campaign:
This campaign contributes to educating and raising awareness in the community about the optimal use of medications, including the proper dosages and timings, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Quit to the Bottom Campaign:
A national awareness campaign targeting all segments of society to increase awareness of the harmful effects of psychoactive substances and the best ways to handle their promoters.
Life is Yours Campaign:
An awareness campaign to educate the community about breast cancer and its early detection, held annually in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Color Your Life Campaign:
A campaign to raise awareness about depression and how to prevent it, targeting all segments of society.
The Little Pharmacist Campaign:
An awareness and recreational campaign to educate children about the importance of the pharmacist’s role in society in a fun and educational way.
Criminal Pharmacist Campaign:
An awareness and recreational campaign simulating the role of a criminal pharmacist, specifically for pharmacy students.
First Aid Safely Campaign:
A campaign to educate the community about the importance of first aid and medication administration in emergency situations.
Chronic Diseases Campaign:
This campaign aims to raise awareness in the community about common chronic diseases, highlighting their causes, prevention methods, and available treatments, to help individuals better manage these conditions and improve their quality of life.
Pharmacy Feud:
A competition for pharmacy students where students from all levels compete in a fun, competitive atmosphere. The winning level is announced and honored.
