The College of Science in Yanbu organized the “Medicinal Plants Day” event, aiming to promote a culture of scientific research among students and highlight the importance of medicinal plants as a source of bioactive compounds with wide applications in drug discovery, biotechnology, and health sciences.

The event aimed to develop students’ research and academic presentation skills, raise awareness of the importance of medicinal plants and their bioactive compounds in modern medicine and biotechnology, and prepare students capable of research, innovation, and keeping pace with scientific advancements in health and scientific fields.
