The College of Science in Yanbu organized a lecture titled “Future Agriculture” on April 21, 2026, with the participation of 10 male and female students, aiming to introduce students to the concepts of sustainable agriculture and modern technologies such as hydroponics and aeroponics, as well as the use of sensors and artificial intelligence in developing the agricultural sector.

The lecture highlighted the importance of employing smart technologies in enhancing agricultural sustainability and contributing to preparing graduates who possess scientific knowledge and practical skills, demonstrate environmental responsibility, and are capable of innovation while keeping pace with labor market demands in smart and sustainable agriculture fields.
