The General Administration of Projects and Operations is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the university’s operational projects to ensure efficient and high-quality workflow, while overseeing the maintenance and operation of facilities and services. The Administration operates according to a clear and well-documented project management methodology based on international standards and best practices applied in Saudi universities, ensuring the quality and efficiency of all project cycle outputs and achieving the satisfaction of all university stakeholders, including students, faculty members, and staff.
Its responsibilities include developing and updating project technical documents such as design standards, technical specifications, bills of quantities, and price categories, in addition to preparing and enhancing the knowledge guide for supervising project implementation. The Administration also works on automating project management processes and technical and engineering documentation, as well as preparing and updating the price guide for construction materials and labor to accurately estimate costs during the study, design, and implementation phases.
The Administration is committed to enhancing the efficiency and skills of engineering, technical, and technological staff, improving the work environment, attracting distinguished experts, and localizing knowledge. It also ensures the continuous maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities, and implements comprehensive planning for the operation and maintenance of all university systems, equipment, facilities, and buildings to guarantee optimal and sustainable performance.
