Taibah University Launches a Campaign to Raise Awareness of Preventive Aspects

  Under the Auspices of Prince Faisal Bin Salman and with the Contribution of Public PersonagesTaibah University Launches a Campaign to Raise Awareness of Preventive AspectsUnder the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, the Prince of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, on Tuesday 28/5/1434 A. H., the health campaign organized by Taibah University through Taibah Medical Club will be launched untitled “ Your Health is  Worth Life 2” in Al Rashed Mall Complex for ten days where His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University esteemed the approval of His Excellency for sponsoring the campaign. His Excellency added that the campaign aims at raising the awareness of the society of the importance of paying attention to the preventive aspects as a living style, food system, significance of early examination, and continuous follow-up in case of detecting any of the spread chronic diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure, obesity, smoking, dental health through examination, measurement, and detecting the injured persons and raising their awareness, in addition to taking advantage of statistical data in preparing research papers and adopting new health initiatives at the region for the service of the community of Good Taibah.
The campaign, in which more than 14 private and governmental bodies participate, is scheduled to host a large number of the most prominent famous health, social, and sporting personalities within the campaign’s activities where the campaign will host in the awareness field at the level of callers to Allah both Sheikh Saleh Bin Awad Al Maghamsy, Sheikh Dr. Ali Muhammad Abul Hassan.As well, Dr. Waleed Fetehy, Dr. Badr Al Shebany,Dr.Mu’taz Hasem, Dr. Saleh Al Ansari,Dr.Nezar Baheri, and Dr. Abi Al Basheer will contribute as participants in the health awareness field.As for the  participating sporting personages, the campaign will host the players Nawaf Al Tamyat, Reda Tekkar, Ahmad Al Faredy, and Malek Muawz. The comic artist  personalities who will take part are the artists Yusuf Al Jarah,, Fahd Al Bayery; the presenter of La Yekthar show, Ibrahim Khair Allah, Ibrahim Saleh; the presenter of “ Broadcast Show”.
The events of the campaign ,which will start with an artistic show presented by Khawater Al Zalam, will include a group of entertaining, cultural and sporting contests such as “ marathon” which will be permeated by distributed souvenirs. Hence,the campaign allocated a number of sites at Al Madinah Al Munawwarah to distribute publications to raise the awareness of the diseases targeted at the campaign such as Taibah University, Islamic University, King Fahd Central Garden, commercial centers, Governmental Departments such as the Principality of Al Madina Al Munawwarah Region and the Secretariat of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Region, Education Department. Also, an advertising program has been prepared for the campaign through the different mass media to be launched in conjunction with its launching.
