His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Bin Abdullah Al Mazrooa sponsored, yesterday evening Tuesday 28/5/1434 at the open playground at the University in the presence of the University Vice- Rector for Educational Affairs Dr. Shaye Al Qahtany and the Vice- Rector of the Students Affairs of Sporting Activity Dr. Maher Masudi, the final match of the University’s football championship of the football league championship organized by Taibah University represented in the Students Affairs Deans which was played between the two teams of Faculty of Education and Faculty of Science and ended by the winning of the Faculty of Education 2/0.
In the aftermath of the match, His Excellency the Rector of University handed over the champion cup and golden medals to the team of the Faculty of Education, cup of second position and silver medals to the team of the Faculty of Science, and the cup of the third position and bronze medals to the team of the Community College in Khaibar Governorate, and the cup of the fourth position and bronze medals to the team of the Faculty of Engineering.The Vice-Dean of Students Affairs Deanship of Sporting Activity Dr. Maher Masudi outlined that the championship was launched on 28/3/1434 A. H. and continued for two months where 65 matches in the championship were held with the contribution of 1520 students representing 23 Faculties,pinpointing that the University organized the championship in the framework of its concern to disseminate the culture of sound body is in sound mind through practicing sport.
