Taibah University Celebrates the Inauguration of the Faculty of Law at the Female Students Section
Under the auspices of the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Abdullah Al Mazrooa, Taibah University ,on Sunday morning 11 Jumada II 1434 A. H., celebrated the inauguration of the Faculty of Law at the female students section where the ceremony, held in female students section and acoustically transmitted to the meetings hall in the Information Technology Deanship in the female students section, started with a fragrant recitation of the Holy Qur’an,the Faculty Member at the Faculty Dr. Ashgan Khales Al Zuhairy delivered a speech on the origin of law in which she tackled the development of law in the world generally and in the Kingdom in particular starting from the adoption of customary laws before writing and passing by the issuance of Islamic legislation in the sixth Gregorian year and up till the adoption of the first Faculty in the Kingdom in the name of the Faculty of Law, reviewing a documentary presentation of the Faculty of Laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in her speech.
Afterwards, the Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr. Saleh Bin Said Al Harby delivered a speech saying: Thanks be to Allah for inaugurating the Faculty of Law at the female students section; it is an emergent Faculty at an emergent University whose high requirement is the advancement of the University. Now, after our students completed the first semester at the male students section, in the coming semester, we will God willing receive the first class in the female students. The Faculty, in its two sections, comprehends 10 male instructors and 8 female instructors and we will receive the coming semester 4 instructors God willing in the Law specialty.
In his speech, he thanked His Excellency the Rector of University for his support and concern with the Faculty, also he thanked all the contributors in building up this Faculty.
At the conclusion of his word, Dr. Al Harby unraveled that the first class of the students of the Faculty of Law who will be graduated after three years shall be qualified to work in the most significant legal works such as litigation, contracts “ commercial arbitration”, negotiation, and brokerage, pinpointing that the Faculty, since its first year, began to assume its social responsibility as one of the Faculties at Taibah University through providing legal counsels, outlining that legal counsels will be provided in the future God willing for the community through the Faculty electronically, clarifying that the Faculty seeks to hold seminars and conferences having public goals in the future.
Subsequently, the Vice- Dean of the Faculty Dr. Eman Azzam delivered a speech, stating: What we celebrate today is the Faculty of Law at the at the female students section, so no community without a law and no community without a woman. The labor market recently includes specialized women sections, consequently, demand for women legal specialists soared due to the quality of these sections. As well, Dr.Eman, in her speech, discussed the achieved accomplishments since resolving to establish the faculty at the female students section including finding out a headquarter for the faculty and building-up an administrative system for the faculty.
Then, the Dean of University Studies for female students Dr. Enas Muhammad Taha delivered a speech, stating: we no longer feel surprised by the inauguration of new scientific projects and edifices in our beloved country at the Kingdom’s Universities in general and Taibah University in particular with the tremendous support enjoyed by education under the age of Our Father the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz “ May Allah Save Him”.
At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the Rector of Taibah University Dr. Adnan Al Mazrooa delivered a speech expressing his bliss by the participation in the inauguration of the Faculty of Law at the female students section, stressing that the University seeks to keep pace with the variable of the age and its developments by entering skills and values in the University’s curricula. Through the Faculty of Law as an emergent faculty with modern curricula, we seek to upgrade it to be one of the first faculties following modern approach.
His Excellency urged the officials of the faculty to utilize the up-to-date education means at the faculty such as default courts and distance communication with Commercial Chambers. Dr. Al Mazrooa concluded his speech saying: I thank all those who contributed in establishing this modern Faculty wishing to see rapid developments at this Faculty to be a pioneer in its specialty.
Then, the female section reviewed snapshots of the fair corners accompanying the inauguration of the Faculty. Also, His Excellency the Rector of the University thanked both Prof.Dr. Abdullah Denfu and Dr. Abdullah Abdul Bashir for their provided efforts in establishing the Faculty. A number of the University Vice- Deans and Faculty Members at the Faculty of Law and Faculty students.
