In the presence of University Studies Dean at Taibah University Dr. Enas Muhammad Taha and the Vice-Rector of University Studies Dr.Fawzyah Al Sobhy and Faculties’ Vice-Rectors, female employees and students, Today,17/6/1434 A.H. the “ Together in the Goodness Sky” meeting has been held at the theatre of the Faculty of Medicine which has been organizes and supervised by the Operation and Maintenance Department and a number of female Faculty Members at the female students section. The meeting aims at honoring the female cleaners at the University numbering sixty cleaners.
The ceremony started with the Holy Qur’an, then the speech of the University Studies Dean Dr.Enas Taha who initiated it by welcoming attendees and thanking those responsible for the honorary ceremony based on the axiom “He does not thank Allah Almighty whoever does not thank people”, and she stressed in her speech the importance of honoring this category endeared to the hearts of all and which is indispensible for all members of society, and we have to know that Muslims are integrating each other and the success of an institution can not be realized but by coherence and cooperation among all of its members.
She said: The work is an honor and all works are significant in all communities, and cleaning is regarded as one of the most important works recommended by our religion. Hence, warding off harm away from road is an alms .She affirmed that the female workers’ effort is tangible and apparent for all the University female affiliates where they work from early morning till the end of the university official working hours.
Also, she affirmed the responsibility of the environment cleaning is not confined to this important category of female workers, but the responsibility includes all.
She added: I am ultimately happy when I find female students helping female cleaners with the aim of helping the female workers and letting them rejoice and meeting their needs by helping them.
At the end of her speech ,she thanked those who are responsible for organizing the ceremony targeting a slice we need in all our life.
Subsequently, the Operation and Maintenance Manager at the University Mrs.Muna Habib delivered a speech expressing her bliss in the honorary ceremony for a dear category who have the favor in working on cleaning the environment which must be clean. Thus, this honorary ceremony was made to held to honor their tangible efforts at our beloved University. As well, she thanks all the contributors in the success of the honorary ceremony.
Then, this has been followed by a visual presentation on the achievements and maintenance works and the favor of male and female workers in warding off harm away from roads.
Afterwards, a number of participating female students acted a theatre presentation on the negligence of some female students at the University for public cleaning, throwing garbage and foods remnants on the ground and leaving them deliberately till the place is to be cleaned after their departure.
Then, the Faculty Member Maryah Al Ahmady talked about the female workers and how they desert their sons and countries for a living and cleaning what we leave of remnants. Thus, the community has to sponsor and take care of them as their role is tremendous and significant at our community.
Then, the contributing students provided a visual presentation on the project proposed by Dr. Maryah Al Ahmady at the Mental Health Headquarter which aims at taking care of the female workers category. The first project was a coordination of the female workers’ rooms at the University and the equipping the unequipped rooms.
The second project is providing meals for the female workers, the third project is the behavioral awareness for them and presenting in kind presents that make use of them in their daily life. While the fourth project is religious awareness by distributing brochures, Holy Qur’an, prayer rugs, prayer sheets and the fifth project is providing them with winter requirements.
Subsequently, the Faculty Member at the University Dr. Amera Etah delivered a speech, outlining the importance of the role conducted by the female employee at the University. Then, she concluded her speech with a poem followed by an acting scene by female students on germs, epidemics, and wastes, and its danger to Man’s health and public environment.
With an external contribution, the female students of Twenties Seventh Secondary School distributed in kin presents and brochures for the attendees on the occasion of the noise pollution campaign entitled “Stop Noise” and identified the campaign and its goal.
The ceremony concluded by honoring the female workers by Dr. Enas Taha by distributing presents and thanks certificates to the female workers and participants at the ceremony.
