Taibah University in Madinah organized today a scientific forum titled “Recent Developments in Commercial Arbitration in Light of the Draft Arbitration Law in the Kingdom,” presented by a distinguished group of legal experts and specialists from several government entities.
The forum highlighted the key developments of the draft commercial arbitration law in Saudi Arabia and the most important legislative and regulatory updates aimed at enhancing the investment environment and developing mechanisms for resolving commercial disputes in line with recognized international standards.
Participants also discussed the role of government entities and regulatory bodies in advancing the arbitration system in the Kingdom and improving the efficiency of legal and professional practices in this field, in addition to exploring future opportunities to enhance investors’ confidence in the Saudi legal environment.
The organization of this forum comes as part of Taibah University’s efforts to activate its role in disseminating legal knowledge, supporting specialized academic dialogue, and contributing to building national capacities in the fields of legislation and commercial arbitration, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030
