Dr. Abdullah Al-Fawzan, Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, delivered a lecture at Taibah University titled “From the Nation’s Vision to Classroom Seats: A Journey of Giving.” During the lecture, he discussed the meanings of patriotism and the responsibility of the nation’s sons and daughters in contributing to its progress, unity, and stability, as well as the vital role of faculty members in instilling the concept of national unity and strengthening social cohesion.
Al-Fawzan stressed that the nation takes pride in its loyal and devoted citizens who spare no effort in elevating and advancing it. He added that the Kingdom serves as a homeland and an identity for its people and a source of pride under its wise leadership, which has prioritized the human being — a principle affirmed through the launch of Saudi Vision 2030.
He also addressed the concept of patriotism and the journey of giving, noting that anyone living in a country like the Kingdom naturally finds themselves surrounded by feelings of pride for the support and empowerment it provides its citizens, starting with free education at all stages and extending to scholarships at top international universities.
At the conclusion of the lecture, Al-Fawzan expressed his appreciation for meeting the members of Taibah University, commending the university’s efforts in instilling national values and promoting meanings of giving and belonging among its students and staff. He emphasized that every citizen is capable of making their success story a model to be emulated
