This course is a required component in the Chemical Engineering profession. It is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of chemical engineering such as Equilibrium Stage Operations in distillation, absorption, leaching and liquid-liquid extraction. This course will help students to take up challenges in designing and evaluating separation process equipment. In this course the practical experiments for separation processes including distillation, gas-liquid absorption, and liquid-liquid extraction, etc.
