The theories and concepts of aging, the physiologic and psychosocial changes, problems, and diseases associated with the aging process, and the appropriate nursing interventions are discussed. Ethical and legal aspects of caring for the elderly are also addressed. 5. Pre-requirements for this course (if any): NUR 382 6. Co-requisites for this course (if any): NONE 7. Course Main Objective(s): 4. Collaborate with the elderly, their family, and health care team to promote health and well-being, foster resilience, and adaptation to change, optimize function, and prevent illness and injury. 5.
