Taibah University in Madinah announced today the launch of 11 specialized initiatives in the fields of graduate studies and scientific research, coinciding with the inauguration of the University’s Scientific Research and Innovation Roadmap, which serves as an organizational reference that defines research priorities, areas of focus, and pathways for interdisciplinary integration.
The University explained that these initiatives come as part of its strategic direction to strengthen the research and innovation ecosystem and to create a stimulating research environment that contributes to improving the quality of scientific outputs and enabling researchers to implement high-impact projects with both knowledge-based and applied value.
It further noted that the initiatives are distributed across multiple research and operational tracks, including targeted support for scientific publishing, research excellence awards, qualification of graduate students, as well as the development of logistical support systems for research groups, digital services, procedures, and coordination.
Taibah University indicated that these initiatives aim to activate the existing research infrastructure, enhance the efficiency of its research centers, and empower national talents to contribute to knowledge production and support innovation in areas of national priority.
The University affirmed that the launch of this package of initiatives extends its ongoing efforts to develop the scientific research ecosystem, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a knowledge-based economy, foster innovation, and enhance the competitiveness of Saudi universities locally and internationally.
