Taibah University Launches “Taibah Thon” Program to Transform Students’ Ideas into Entrepreneurial Projects

 Taibah University in Madinah, in partnership with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at), has launched the “Taibah Thon” program, aiming to transform students’ innovative ideas into viable entrepreneurial projects, within a structured framework that supports innovation and promotes a culture of entrepreneurship.

“Taibah Thon” is an integrated innovation program in scientific, technological, and creative fields. It focuses on converting promising ideas into successful entrepreneurial ventures through a comprehensive ecosystem that includes specialized training, mentorship from experts and entrepreneurs, as well as financial support to prepare projects and enable their entry into the labor market.

The program runs for 14 weeks, during which introductory workshops are held to present the program, which includes three tracks:
    •    Science, Life, and Human Health,
    •    Culture and Creative Arts, and
    •    Energy, Industry, and Advanced Technologies.

This is followed by the implementation of a preparatory and training bootcamp for participating teams, then the final judging phase for submissions, culminating in the program’s closing stage and the presentation of financial awards to the winning projects.
