Taibah University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development to develop research and training capabilities among university students and non-profit sector personnel, support innovation and social investment, and enhance awareness of the importance and societal impact of the non-profit sector.
The cooperation areas include measuring social impact using rigorous scientific methodologies, organizing specialized workshops and field training programs, qualifying students in social investment and community innovation, studying the needs of the city and proposing development initiatives, in addition to establishing a joint research chair to support research and its tools.
The MoU was signed by Ahmed bin Ali Al-Suwailim, CEO of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, and Dr. Nawal bint Mohammed Al-Rasheed, President of Taibah University. Both emphasized the importance of joint cooperation in supporting scientific research and community innovation, and in enhancing the impact of the non-profit sector within society
