The Unit for Supporting Teaching Assistants, Lecturers, Language Instructors, and Research Assistants offers guidance, professional support, and resources to help them overcome challenges and advance in their careers. The unit also encourages staff to pursue higher education opportunities to further enhance their qualifications.

To provide effective support and informed planning, the unit maintains a regularly updated data platform that monitors progress and generates insights to guide future university initiatives.

Studying the actual needs of the university’s colleges in coordination with the colleges.
Preparing a strategic and phased plan for the positions of teaching assistants, lecturers, language instructors, and research assistants according to the decision of the authorized authority.
Announcing the job openings in local newspapers.
Receiving applicants’ files from the Personnel Affairs Department and sorting them.
Sending all applicants’ requests to the relevant colleges for academic evaluation, review, and conducting the required tests and personal interviews.
Following up on the files with the various colleges and returning them to the Teaching Assistants Unit after obtaining the approvals of the relevant councils.
Returning other evaluated files sent by the Teaching Assistants Unit to the unit for archiving.
Ensuring that all nominated candidates undergo tests and personal interviews and meet all conditions according to the regulations of higher education, in preparation for submission to the Permanent Committee for Teaching Assistants and Lecturers for discussion and appropriate decision-making.
