The first Career Fair and Employment Forum, organized by Taibah University in Madinah and launched yesterday under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region, featured a number of specialized workshops aimed at enhancing students' and graduates' readiness for the job market and developing their professional and cognitive skills.
The "Learning and Development through Performance" workshop, presented by Dr. Aisha Balihish Mohammed Al-Amri, explored the concept of continuous learning and performance-based development, and their role in raising professional efficiency, improving productivity, and achieving career excellence. It also addressed the importance of fostering a culture of continuous development in work environments, linking learning to achieving professional goals, and acquiring skills to improve job performance.
The "Professional Future of Dentistry in the Private Sector" workshop, presented by Dr. Khalaf bin Awad Al-Harbi, highlighted career opportunities and future challenges in the private sector, the requirements for success and professional development in the field, and reviewed labor market needs and the most prominent specializations and promising opportunities for graduates.

In the human resources development track, the “Employee Motivation” workshop, presented by Fouad Othman Falatah, addressed methods for raising motivation and job satisfaction levels, and their impact on increasing productivity and achieving work goals efficiently. It also reviewed several practices that contribute to creating a positive work environment and enhancing institutional performance.
The “Developing Policies and Business Models Using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)” workshop, presented by Dr. Aref Marzouq Ali Al-Suhaimi, discussed methodologies for developing institutional policies, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the quality of outputs. This was achieved through designing measurable performance indicators and linking them to strategic objectives, thus supporting data-driven decision-making and strengthening the system for continuous monitoring and improvement.
These workshops are part of the programs of the first Employment Forum and Career Fair, which aims to promote alignment between educational outcomes and labor market needs, provide students and graduates with opportunities to explore promising career paths and specializations, and build bridges of communication with participating governmental, private, and non-profit organizations.
