Program Mission:
To prepare and qualify researchers to work in the field of Islamic Education teaching by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue advanced studies as researchers in Curriculum and Instruction of Islamic Education.
Program Objectives:
1. To provide students with distinguished academic expertise in Curriculum and Instruction of Islamic Education.
2. To develop students’ competencies in critical thinking and analytical skills through the preparation of theses and research projects in Curriculum and Instruction of Islamic Education.
3. To promote lifelong learning principles to enable students’ continuous professional development and support their participation in conferences, seminars, and specialized training programs related to Curriculum and Instruction of Islamic Education.
4. To apply educational theories in curriculum design and develop instructional skills in Islamic Education, including practical training in their implementation.

K1 Explains theories and practices related to planning, implementing, and developing Islamic Education curricula.
K2 Describes contemporary trends in curriculum development in general, and in Islamic Education in particular.
K3 Classifies various strategies and methods that can be utilized in teaching Islamic Education at different stages of general education.
K4 Proposes solutions to issues and challenges related to Islamic Education curriculum content after systematic study and analysis.
Skills
S1 Derives innovative ideas and applicable procedures from published research and professional reports to develop Islamic Education curricula at both general and higher education levels and improve teaching methods.
S2 Applies educational research methodologies to analyze issues in Islamic Education curricula and teaching methods, reaching practical results and recommendations.
