As part of Taibah University’s commitment to implementing its Institutional Sustainability Strategy 2025–2030, and in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the university is launching the Sustainability Awareness Survey to assess the level of understanding among its faculty, staff, and students regarding key sustainability concepts and practices across its three dimensions: environmental, economic, and social.
This initiative aims to strengthen a culture of sustainability within the university and to guide future programs and projects based on accurate data that support the development of a well‑informed community capable of contributing to sustainable development. All responses will be treated with strict confidentiality and will be used exclusively to support the efforts of the Institutional Sustainability Unit in designing impactful initiatives that serve the university community.
Measure the level of sustainability awareness among university faculty, staff, and students based on globally recognized sustainability dimensions.
Support strategic planning for the Institutional Sustainability Unit by providing data that help develop effective programs and initiatives.
Enhance knowledge of the SDGs and connect them to daily behaviors and practices within the university environment.
Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in sustainability-related awareness and behavior, contributing to increased community engagement.
Develop a university-wide sustainability awareness index that reflects progress and supports continuous improvement year after year.
