The College of Nursing, represented by the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing and with the participation of second-level female students, organized a community awareness initiative titled “Nursing in the Face of Contemporary Ethical Issues (A Humanitarian Responsibility)” on Wednesday, 19/11/1447 AH  May 6, 2026.

The initiative aimed to enhance awareness among male and female students, faculty, and staff regarding the humanitarian and ethical role of the nursing profession in addressing contemporary health issues. It focused on reinforcing the principles of professional responsibility, respect for human dignity, and the promotion of ethical values in nursing practice, thereby contributing to improving the quality of healthcare and supporting community health.

The initiative included the presentation of various educational materials, such as posters, brochures, and short videos, highlighting the connection between nursing practice and its ethical and humanitarian dimensions.

The activities were carried out at the College campus in the female section, Building 213 at Taibah University, and in the male section at the Applied College Building – Abyar Ali.
