An awareness event titled “Caring with Awareness for Esteemed Seniors”

The College of Nursing, represented by the Department of Community Health Nursing, organized an awareness event titled “Caring with Awareness for Esteemed Seniors” as an extracurricular activity for the Geriatric Nursing course on Thursday, May 7, 2026, under the patronage of the Deanship of Student Affairs at Taibah University, in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit and the Volunteer Work Unit at the college.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Jamal bin Qarnas Al-Marashi, the Dean of the College, the Dean of Student Affairs, the college vice deans, department heads, and faculty members. The event also featured participation from the University Medical Center, the Home Healthcare Administration, Hayah Association, and the Saudi Home Healthcare Association.

The event included a variety of booths and activities focused on promoting the health and well-being of older adults.
