Taibah University has implemented the Executive Leadership Program for postgraduate students (LeadX), as a qualitative initiative aimed at developing leadership skills among graduate students. This comes within the university’s direction toward preparing young leaders capable of creating institutional impact and keeping pace with future demands.

The program witnessed remarkable interest, with 80 applicants, of whom 48 participants were accepted after screening and selection procedures. Among them, 38 were from the university and 10 from outside it, reflecting the growing interest in the program and its expanding academic presence.

The program recorded both national and international participation, with 47 Saudi participants and one international participant, enhancing the diversity of the training experience and opening broader horizons for the exchange of expertise and knowledge.

Participants also came from five universities: University of Jeddah, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Taif University, King Abdulaziz University, and the Islamic University of Madinah, in addition to participation from the general education sector outside the university.

The participants’ specializations varied across health sciences, engineering, computer science, law, humanities and applied sciences, and business administration, highlighting the program’s inclusiveness and its ability to attract talent from diverse fields.

The LeadX program reflects the university’s commitment to empowering postgraduate students and transforming academic potential into influential leadership capabilities that contribute to serving institutions and society, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
