Taibah University has achieved tangible progress in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, advancing by 184 positions to reach rank 882, compared to rank 1066 in 2024.
The University explained that this significant leap is the result of concerted efforts to improve the efficiency of natural resource use, develop infrastructure, and enhance environmental awareness among its staff and students. This has been achieved through the implementation of a series of initiatives and projects aimed at rationalizing energy and water consumption, reducing waste, expanding green spaces, and adopting smart systems that support sustainability across various sectors of the University.
The University affirmed that these results reflect its commitment to providing a sustainable, healthy educational environment. Through this progress, Taibah University seeks to support sustainable development and contribute to achieving Saudi Vision 2030 by building an environmentally aware society with greater health and well-being
