Taibah University in Madinah achieved a series of distinguished institutional accomplishments during 2025, reflecting the maturity of its performance and the integration of its vision, as part of its ongoing development journey aimed at strengthening its academic, research, and developmental role, and steadily advancing toward the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
During the year, the University launched its new institutional identity and its strategy for the period (2025–2030) at an event held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Governor of the Madinah Region, and attended by His Excellency the Minister of Education, with participation exceeding 15,000 attendees—affirming the University’s standing and its pivotal role within the higher education ecosystem.
Taibah University implemented more than seven technological projects that contributed to the comprehensive development of the academic and administrative systems. In addition, it achieved 15 patents representing innovative accomplishments across diverse scientific fields, further supporting the research and innovation ecosystem.
In terms of spending efficiency and sustainability, the University realized savings of SAR 7 million through optimal resource management, alongside producing 6 million kilowatt-hours annually of sustainable energy in partnership with the Tarshid Program. It also allocated SAR 11 million to support scientific research and innovation.
At the level of accreditation and institutional development, the University obtained nine local and international academic and programmatic accreditations in education quality, and delivered more than 1,500 training courses to develop its faculty and staff academically and professionally, enhancing human capital efficiency.
The University also organized four local and international conferences with the participation of experts and specialists, launched three medical competitions and innovation-focused boot camps, and achieved 11 scientific and research accomplishments during 2025.
These efforts were crowned by the University’s receipt of seven local and international awards earned by Taibah University students, in addition to six national and global awards and rankings that strengthened the University’s standing and competitive presence.
