Prince of Madinah Region Patronizes the Graduation Ceremony of Taibah University’s 22nd Cohort
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Madinah Region, patronized the graduation ceremony of the 22nd cohort of Taibah University students for the academic year 1447 AH. The ceremony celebrated the graduation of 11,817 male and female students across various disciplines and academic levels, held at the university’s conference hall.
The ceremony commenced with the graduates’ procession, followed by a speech delivered by medical graduate Mohammed bin Hammad Al-Husseini on behalf of his fellow graduates. In his address, he expressed gratitude and appreciation to the university’s leadership, faculty members, parents, and everyone who contributed to their academic journey, emphasizing that the university has been a beacon of knowledge that helped build students’ capabilities and guide them toward success.
Following that, His Royal Highness and the attendees watched a documentary film highlighting the graduates’ journey, the university’s achievements, and key milestones in academic development. The film reflected the academic and national significance of the occasion, marking both the culmination of an educational phase and the beginning of a new chapter in contributing to national development and community service.
President of Taibah University, Dr. Nawal bint Mohammed Al-Rasheed, delivered a speech affirming that graduation is not the end of the journey, but its true beginning. She noted that what graduates carry from Taibah University goes beyond academic knowledge to include values that shape their awareness and a sense of responsibility that should guide their future steps. She emphasized that they are now ambassadors of their university and a reflection of the nation’s investment in them, expressing hope that they will become active contributors in fields of work, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
She further explained that the university continues to move forward with determination toward development, enhancing its competitiveness, innovation, and inspiration, and graduating national talents that align with the Kingdom’s ambitions. She also expressed her appreciation to the graduates’ families, faculty members, academic and administrative leaders, and all university staff who contributed to the success of this occasion and the comprehensive educational journey leading up to it.
