Taibah University organizes a workshop on the basics of patent drafting

Taibah University in Madinah, in cooperation with the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, will organize tomorrow an online workshop entitled "Basics of Drafting a Patent," aiming to raise awareness among the university staff and students about innovation protection pathways and documenting research outputs according to intellectual property requirements.

The workshop targets faculty members, male and female students, and staff of Saudi universities, and it will be presented by the Chief Patent Examiner at the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, Engineer Ihab Saleh Bashbeeshi.

The workshop will cover the basics of preparing and drafting patent applications, mechanisms for protecting innovative ideas, and raising awareness about the importance of intellectual property and its role in supporting research, development, and innovation.

The university stated that the workshop will be held at 7:00 PM, inviting those interested in registering to visit its official social media accounts.
