The ninth edition of the "Ambassadors of Moderation" program, organized by Taibah University in Medina from October 18–21 under the theme "Intelligence and Security," brings together students from Saudi universities with the goal of fostering intellectual awareness and keeping pace with technological advancement. More than 80 male and female students, representing over 18 universities, are participating in an initiative that links the consolidation of the values of moderation and balance with the requirements for building the future.
Dr. Obaid Al-Omari, supervisor of the university’s Intellectual Awareness Unit, explained that the program aims to enhance awareness in the context of technological evolution and future-building. This underscores the importance of preparing young people to navigate rapid transformations and to leverage their intellectual and technical capabilities for the benefit of society.
Through its academic sessions and training activities, the program covers topics such as initiative development, the practice of moderation in the digital realm, the application of artificial intelligence, and responsible citizenship. It also features a "smart initiative" bootcamp, which enables participants to transform ideas into practical projects that utilize modern technology to address intellectual and social issues.
This ninth edition emphasizes the transition from merely promoting concepts to applying them through practical initiatives. It empowers young people to play an active role in spreading awareness and confronting intellectual challenges, while utilizing the tools of the future to serve national and societal values.
