The Taibah University Journal of Science has strengthened its international research presence, advancing to 34th place globally among 140 journals specializing in basic sciences and ranking within the top 25% of scientific journals worldwide (Q1), achieving an impact factor of 3.6.
The Taibah University Journal of Science is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Taibah University since 2008. It specializes in publishing research in the fields of basic sciences, including chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology, geology, and environmental sciences.
The journal has achieved continuous improvement in research performance indicators, entering the Thomson Reuters ISI rankings in 2018 with an impact factor of 1.640, before continuing its progress in international rankings. This reflects the quality of the research published within it and its broad scientific impact.
The journal is distinguished by its open access policy and the rigorous scientific review process for published research according to international standards. This has contributed to enhancing its standing among specialized scientific journals and attracting high-quality research from around the world. This achievement comes as an extension of Taibah University’s efforts to support the scientific research system, improve the quality of its outputs, and enhance its academic and research presence at the international level, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in building a knowledge economy based on innovation and scientific excellence.
