Taibah University in Medina is taking part in the 2026 Medina Dates Season with an educational pavilion that highlights its role in supporting scientific research and innovation to serve the palm and dates sector. The pavilion features scientific research, patents, and educational lectures that help apply knowledge and innovation to develop the sector and support the regional economy.

The university pavilion showcases research and innovation outputs that highlight its scientific contributions to the development of the palm and dates sector. It also organizes three scientific lectures covering the investment in research chairs as a strategic opportunity for sector development, the nutritional value and health benefits of Medina dates based on scientific evidence, and the importance of genetic diversity in date palm varieties and its role in addressing agricultural and climate challenges.
