Taibah University in Madinah announced that it is directing its research ecosystem in alignment with the national priorities for research, development, and innovation, in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. This is achieved through a systematic focus on the areas of health, industry, sustainability, and technology, enhancing the impact of scientific research and linking it to national development needs.

The University explained that its research directions stem from aligning its priorities with the national priorities for research, development, and innovation, which include human health, leadership in energy and industry, sustainability and essential needs, and future economies. This alignment contributes to building a sustainable knowledge-based economy and enhancing the Kingdom’s global competitiveness.

It further clarified that Taibah University’s research priorities focus on health, industry, sustainability, and technology through several core research tracks, including non-communicable diseases, infectious diseases, manufacturing, water and natural resources, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, biodiversity and afforestation, as well as renewable energy, communications and networks, and services and community experience.

The University affirmed that this direction is part of its efforts to maximize the cognitive and economic impact of scientific research, support innovation, and contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030
