Taibah University Launches the “Zarqaa” Initiative to Enhance Awareness of Water Issues

Taibah University, in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, has launched the “Zarqaa” initiative, which aims to enhance awareness of water-related issues and highlight the role of women in rationalizing water use and conserving water resources, within the framework of the university’s community responsibilities.

The introductory meeting, scheduled for the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, seeks to raise awareness of water scarcity issues, showcase the importance of optimal water use, and encourage the adoption of sustainable practices within the community, thereby supporting national efforts to preserve water resources.

The “Zarqaa” initiative seeks to empower women in the field of water issues, promote rational daily consumption, reduce water waste, and protect natural resources, while also reinforcing the concept of community sustainability.
