Taibah University in Madinah has launched the Research Fellowship for Impact and Innovation, an initiative aimed at attracting distinguished researchers through two tracks: the Postdoctoral Researcher and the Visiting Researcher. The program seeks to enhance research productivity and link it to developmental challenges across several specialized fields.
The University stated that the initiative is designed to attract scientific talent to work on pressing development challenges in areas such as healthcare, energy, industry, artificial intelligence, and genetic sciences, in addition to a range of fundamental and applied sciences.
The University further explained that the program comprises two main tracks. The first is the Postdoctoral Fellowship, a full-time program dedicated to researchers for a period ranging from 12 to 24 months. The second is the Visiting Researcher Fellowship, a short-term program targeting distinguished researchers on a part-time basis for flexible durations of no less than one month.
The University noted that the initiative offers numerous benefits, including enhancing research and innovation outputs within research centers, developing advanced research skills, strengthening academic and professional profiles, fostering academic and research collaborations with scientific teams, and working within an integrated research ecosystem that promotes cooperation. Participants will also receive an accredited certificate in accordance with the governing regulations.
