Taibah University in Madinah Launches the Research Fellowship Initiative for Impact and Innovation
Taibah University in Madinah has launched the Research Fellowship Initiative for Impact and Innovation, aiming to attract outstanding researchers through two tracks: Postdoctoral Researcher and Visiting Researcher. The initiative seeks to enhance research output and align it with developmental challenges across various specialized fields.
The university explained that the initiative is a research program designed to attract scientific talents to work on development challenges in areas such as health, energy, industry, artificial intelligence, and genomics, in addition to a range of basic and applied sciences.
It further stated that the program includes two main tracks. The first is the Postdoctoral Fellowship, which is dedicated to full-time researchers for a duration ranging from 12 to 24 months. The second track is the Visiting Researcher Fellowship, a short-term program targeting distinguished researchers on a part-time basis for flexible periods of no less than one month.
The university noted that the initiative offers several benefits, including enhancing research and innovation output in research centers, developing advanced research skills, strengthening academic and professional profiles, building academic and research collaborations with scientific teams, working within an integrated research ecosystem that fosters cooperation, and obtaining an accredited certificate in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
