Taibah University in Madinah organized the "World of Silence" exhibition today to coincide with the International Day of Sign Languages. Attended by university leadership and staff, the event aimed to introduce the culture of the deaf community and raise awareness about methods of communicating with them.
The exhibition featured various interactive and informative booths that offered visitors practical demonstrations of sign language, as well as hands-on experiences allowing them to learn basic vocabulary and signs and interact with them practically.
The booths included educational materials on deaf culture and student-led awareness initiatives, providing practical content on communication in daily situations, raising awareness of the needs of deaf individuals, and highlighting appropriate communication methods.
