The Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sirajuddin Shamsuddinov, visited Taibah University in Medina today.
The Uzbek Consul General met with the President of the University, Dr. Nawal bint Mohammed Al-Rashid, and they discussed opportunities to enhance academic and educational cooperation and to exchange scientific expertise.
During the meeting, they reviewed areas of mutual cooperation and ways to develop academic relations with international educational institutions, which contribute to the exchange of knowledge and expertise and the strengthening of scientific and cultural partnerships.
The delegation was briefed on an introduction highlighting the university's history, its academic programs, scientific specializations, and branches in the provinces of the Medina region, in addition to reviewing the region’s religious, historical, and cultural features, as well as the scholarship opportunities available for international students.
The visit comes within the framework of Taibah University's efforts in Medina to enhance its international academic presence and expand its partnerships with educational institutions worldwide, supporting scientific and knowledge exchange and aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing education and human capacities.
