Taibah University and the “Mowaamah” project have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing integration between academic education and professional development, developing future skills, and improving students’ and graduates’ readiness for the labor market. The agreement also seeks to equip national talent with the skills needed to employ artificial intelligence technologies in their academic specializations and professional fields.
Taibah University was represented at the signing by Dr. Khalid bin Mujahid Al-Harbi, Dean of the College of Business in Yanbu, on behalf of the University President, while the “Mowaamah” project was represented by Chairman of the Board of Directors Saeed bin Saad Al-Shahrani.
The agreement includes the development and implementation of professional development programs, practical training, and hands-on simulation, contributing to aligning educational outcomes with labor-market needs and enhancing students’ and graduates’ employability. It also covers cooperation in professional boot camps and programs, research and innovation, and the implementation of joint initiatives.
The partnership comes as part of Mowaamah’s efforts to connect academic knowledge with professional and future skills and to keep pace with the growing use of artificial intelligence across various jobs and academic disciplines.
Coinciding with the signing of the agreement, Mowaamah launched a series of applied professional programs under the Mowaamah for Artificial Intelligence track. These include programs for Accounting Specialist, Finance Specialist, Human Resources Specialist, Marketing and Corporate Communications Specialist, and Professional Administrative Employee, all utilizing artificial intelligence.
The programs target students, graduates, and employees, focusing on the practical application of artificial intelligence within different disciplines and job functions. This is intended to enhance productivity and professional efficiency while supporting adaptation to the evolving requirements of the future of work.
