Contributing to advancing scientific research and innovation in genetics and diseases by providing research and diagnostic services to beneficiaries, aiming for a better understanding of the relationship between genes, their structure, and their role in diseases to help improve individuals' quality of life.

Objectives

1.    Develop the latest capabilities in functional genomics.
2.    Establish a facility for early detection and prevention of genetic diseases in Saudi Arabia.
3.    Promote and localize knowledge to conduct high-impact research and support a knowledge-based economy.
4.    Launch a specialized academic and training programs in clinical genetics for undergraduate and postgraduate students and fellows.
5.    Raise community awareness about genetic diseases and how to prevent them to reduce the burden of such diseases in Saudi Arabia.
