The College of Nursing at Taibah University held the Second Scientific Research Day activities on Sunday, May 10, 2026, under the theme: Research Seen .. Impact Measured The event was honored by the presence of Her Excellency the University President, Dr. Nawal bint Mohammed Al-Rasheed, along with the university vice presidents, academic leaders from the university and the college, and attended by several leaders from the region’s healthcare sectors, faculty members, researchers, and male and female students. This event was organized as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the culture of scientific research and promote concepts of innovation and creativity within the health and academic fields.
The organization of this scientific event in its second edition reflects the importance of scientific research as one of the fundamental pillars for advancing nursing practices and improving the quality of healthcare services, in addition to its role in supporting the educational process and linking theoretical knowledge with clinical applications and community needs. The Scientific Research Day also aims to encourage students to engage in research projects and develop their skills in preparing scientific studies and presenting their findings according to modern academic standards.
The program included a number of specialized scientific sessions that addressed various topics in nursing and healthcare fields, in addition to research presentations delivered by faculty members and students, highlighting the outcomes of studies and research projects related to different health and community issues. The event also featured a research poster exhibition, providing participants with the opportunity to present their ideas and discuss their projects with specialists and interested attendees, thereby contributing to the exchange of expertise and the enhancement of research collaboration.
At the conclusion of the event, the college honored the best research contributions and distinguished scientific posters in recognition of the efforts made and to motivate researchers and students to continue scientific excellence and innovation. The event received wide praise for the quality of its organization and scientific content, reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting scientific research and achieving a tangible impact in both academic and clinical fields.
