The Field Training Unit at the College of Nursing organized the Orientation Session for Internship Year Students on June 11, 2026, with the aim of preparing them for the transition to the professional healthcare workplace.
The event was attended by 247 internship students, along with the College leadership and representatives from affiliated healthcare organizations and partner hospitals.
The program provided an overview of the objectives of the internship year, applicable regulations and policies, assessment procedures, students' rights and responsibilities, as well as the application and placement process.
The session also featured welcoming remarks, introductory presentations by the training institutions, an overview of career pathways, and a presentation highlighting the experience of one of the College's internship graduates.
The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session that addressed students' inquiries and enhanced their readiness to begin their clinical training.
The College emphasized the importance of making the most of the internship year as an opportunity to develop clinical competencies and professional skills. It also expressed its appreciation to the participating healthcare institutions and the students for their active engagement and valuable participation.
