The College of Computer Science and Engineering, represented by the Department of Information Systems, is organizing the Second Information Systems Research Week, held under the theme:

“Advancing Intelligent Information Systems for Innovation and Impact”

The event will take place from May 11 to May 13, 2026, at the College of Computer Science and Engineering Theater.

This scientific event brings together a distinguished group of researchers, academics, students, and specialists in the fields of artificial intelligence and information systems. It aims to enhance research activity, exchange expertise between academic and industrial sectors, support innovation in modern technological solutions, and align research outputs with labor market needs.

The program includes specialized scientific and research sessions, presentations of graduation projects and scientific posters, as well as hands-on workshops in artificial intelligence and scientific research. It also features academic discussions that strengthen integration between academia and industry, in addition to honoring the winners of the Best Presentation, Best Graduation Project, and Best Scientific Poster awards.

The week targets faculty members, researchers, university students, and those interested in artificial intelligence and information systems, as part of efforts to support the research environment and foster scientific innovation and creativity.
