The College of Computer Science and Engineering was founded in 2005 as the first college specializing in computer science in Madinah. It quickly established itself as one of the largest colleges at Taibah University in terms of student enrollment, currently enrolling approximately 4,000 students, with female students representing more than 60% of the total student body.
Praise be to Allah, the College has achieved a prominent position both locally and internationally. Its academic programs have received international accreditation from ABET, reflecting its excellence in providing high-quality education that keeps pace with modern and emerging technologies. This excellence in education is attributed to the dedication of the College's faculty, staff, and students, as well as the significant support of the University's senior administration. Furthermore, the College enjoys strategic relationships with the technical and industrial sectors, encompassing various areas of cooperation, such as joint research and cooperative and summer training programs for male and female students, which enhance students' readiness for the job market. The College of Computer Science and Engineering comprises five academic departments: Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science. The College is proud to be the only institution in Madinah to offer a specialized bachelor's program in computer engineering. The College also offers distinguished graduate programs, most notably the master's program in Internet of Things, Robotics, and Automation, and the master's program in Big Data Analytics. Additionally, the college offers a range of minor programs designed to enhance academic integration among the University's various colleges, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Given its prime location in the heart of Madinah, the College of Computer Science and Engineering has become a destination of learning that attracts scholars and experts from across the Islamic World. The College's faculty consists of approximately 140 faculty members who earned their degrees from top international universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and elsewhere. Many of them have a distinguished research record, including papers published in prestigious scientific journals. Many of the College's staff have also obtained international patents, a clear indication of the College's leadership in scientific research. We thank you for your visit and welcome your inquiries. We continue our tireless efforts to build a creative, technological generation, guided by an ambitious vision to achieve a noble mission.
