The University Agency for Academic Affairs, represented by the International Students Department, held an introductory meeting for international students under the slogan 'Rights and Responsibilities of the International Student.' The aim was to familiarize international students with the main features of the scholarships they joined and the services provided to them. The meeting commenced with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by student Mohammed Emam Hussein, followed by a speech from the Director of the International Students Department, Ms. Johara Bin Juma, in which she highlighted the key competitive advantages of Taibah University and the benefits granted to international students. Additionally, Ms. Amani Asaad, the officer of the Admissions and Recruitment Unit in the department, spoke about the types of available scholarships, the main requirements for student admission via the 'Adros' platform in Saudi Arabia, and the application deadlines for new students. Moreover, Mr. Wasim Fadl, Head of the Support Services Department, explained the institutional services provided to international students, including the issuance and renewal of residence permits and visas, among other services for residents. Mr. Badr Al-Ruhaily, an employee specialized in the Support Services Department and responsible for the 'Etemad' platform, provided a detailed explanation on how students can update their information to correctly verify the issuance of boarding orders.From the academic side, the Academic and Financial Affairs Officer in the administration, Ms. Doaa Al-Turk, spoke about the important academic terms that university students need to be familiar with and deal with during their academic journey. The meeting concluded with answering the questions of the attending students and listening to their requests.
