The College of Science in Yanbu Contributes to an International Achievement for Gifted Students from Yanbu’s General Education at the TISF Exhibition in Taiwan.

In a distinguished scientific achievement, the research project titled:

“Exploiting the Beneficial Role of Biochar and Titanium (Ti) as a Sustainable and Green Strategy for Improving Agricultural Output in Saudi Arabia: Wheat as an Example Case Study,”

won third place at the Taiwan International Science Fair (TISF 2024), held in Taiwan, with the participation of more than 600 students from 27 countries around the world.

The project was supervised by Dr. Mona Hassan from the Department of Biology at the College of Science in Yanbu, as part of the college’s efforts to support scientific research and develop the skills of gifted students from general education in Yanbu Governorate, reflecting the college’s role in scientific and community engagement.
