The University formed the Institutional Sustainability Working Group to support the Unit in implementing its plans and programs, to promote and disseminate sustainability concepts across the University, and to reinforce sustainable practices in various domains.
The Working Group comprises faculty members, administrative leaders, representatives of related units, and experts in environmental, social responsibility, and economic fields, ensuring the integration of perspectives and disciplines. This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to transforming into a sustainable institutional model that contributes to achieving the goals of Vision 2030 and strengthening its local and global position in sustainability.
Support the review and analysis of sustainability data in coordination with the relevant University sectors.
Prepare the annual Sustainability Report, along with related reports and outputs.
Contribute to the review and development of sustainability-related policies and practices in coordination with the relevant entities.
Propose and support sustainability-related initiatives, programs, and awareness activities, and contribute to strengthening relevant collaboration and partnerships.
Support the University’s strategic directions in the areas of sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals, including related institutional requirements and practices.
