In this course the student learns the basic and specialized knowledge about lower limb prostheses used to rehabilitate foot amputation, trans-tibial and through-ankle amputees, and patient gait training on the use of these prostheses. The student will practice the assessment, measurement, manufacture, and fitting of prostheses for these levels of amputations. The course will enable the student to categorize amputations and prosthesis types.
