This course introduces the principles of optics at intermediate level of the B. Sc. degree program. The course covers the principles of optics theories, geometrical optics, and physical optics. Topics covered in this course include wave motion, geometrical optics; light reflection and refraction, Physical optics; interference, polarization, and diffraction of light waves. The course also gives the possibility for the student to study the use of different optical devices.
